Technology Center
The BSB Technology Center provides technology support and solutions to Baylor University researchers across the scientific research community. We work closely with faculty, staff, postdoctoral researchers, graduate students, and undergraduate students who use scientific research equipment and technology.
Our team partners with Core Facilities and research laboratories to understand their unique needs and develop reliable, practical technology solutions. From hardware and software implementation to system support and troubleshooting, the Technology Center provides customized solutions designed to help researchers focus on their work.
About Our Technologist
Adam Watson is the BSB Research Technology Systems Manager and has served Baylor University since 2018. With more than 20 years of experience across a broad range of technology industries and extensive experience in higher education, Adam brings a diverse combination of technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and practical experience to his role.
Adam earned his Master of Business Administration in Information Technology Management (MBA-ITM) from Western Governors University in September 2025. His graduate education complements his extensive technical experience and provides a strong foundation in information technology management, business strategy, leadership, and organizational problem-solving.
His expertise spans both hardware and software, allowing him to support the wide variety of technologies used throughout Baylor's research environment. He works closely with researchers and Core Facilities to identify technology challenges, develop effective solutions, and support the systems that enable scientific discovery.
Adam approaches each project with creativity, determination, and an emphasis on practical, innovative solutions. His goal is to make technology work for researchers—not become an obstacle to their research.
